See what's inside
This is the real thing running on an invented household — two salaries, a flat, a car and the usual bills. Move between the screens, add an expense, and watch the month re-solve. Nothing here is saved and no account is involved.
One pool, one transfer
Two salaries go in, every shared cost comes out, and what remains is split so both partners are free to spend the same amount. The whole month then settles with a single transfer on payday — not a running tally of who owes whom for the milk.
Pool & split what's left
Each partner is free to spend
€2,213
Unequal in. Equal out.
Partner A spent €83 of their own
€2,130 left
Partner B spent €22 of their own
€2,191 left
Both start the month with the same amount to spend. Any difference below is personal spending — each partner's own choice, private to them, and it never changes the shared split.
Payday transfer
One transfer settles the month. Partner A fronted €2,335 of shared costs,Partner B €240 — the difference against each fair share is what moves.
Light touch, by design
- Every month starts fresh. Your balance resets when the new salary lands — nothing is dragged over from last month.
- Log the shared costs. That is what the two of you reconcile — you live the month, then square up with a single transfer on the following payday.
- Personal spending is optional. Record your own ad-hoc expenses only if you want to track them; your partner never sees them either way.
Add an expense
Try it — the month re-solves as you add, exactly as the real app does.
Every figure here is invented, and nothing you type leaves this page. Request an account to keep your own.
